KJ's Market IGA is now more spacious and organized, which makes shopping a pleasure. I especially like the deli/bakery because of its variety of freshly baked goods; and the cafe with its variety of deliciously home cooked full-course meals.
The food in the deli was awesome. Best turnip greens I have ever had!
Prejudice is all I can say. This is my home town and I am sad to say I came to visit my parents and came in to pick up a few things and the way the cashiers treat African Americans isn't right. Maybe if I came in with my chef jacket on I would have been treated differently. The cashier didn't speak I don't remember her name but I remember she is cashier number 134. Morrison or something like that, anyway she never said a word to me not even my total. As soon as I grabbed. My bags she spoke to the white lady behind me and acted as if I were air. She was very rude and that isn't acceptable. This happened on a Saturday September 30th. Around 8 p.m.
